How Official Records Connect
Arrest, custody, and court information do not all live in one Aiken County system. The Aiken County Sheriff's Office maintains the current-detainee roster and handles records requests. That live search is limited to people currently detained, so it is not a release archive and does not promise a public booking photograph. The Sheriff's records process is the official route to ask whether a specific existing booking record or photo can be released.
The South Carolina Department of Corrections, or SCDC, is a separate state-prison system for sentenced prisoners, not an alternate county booking archive. A court record supplies the later case outcome, which can differ from a charge at booking. This resource brings those distinct official paths together and does not host photos, rosters, court files, or arrest entries itself.
What the Home Hub Covers
The home mega-hub combines the county's official detainee-search route, booking-record request information, current-roster limitations, recent-booking context, South Carolina mugshot-law context, and removal-law information. Those topics are intentionally not split into separate roster, feed, arrest-log, removal, warrant, or facility pages.

- How to distinguish a county detention record from an SCDC prisoner search and from a court disposition.
- How to use the Sheriff's official record-request path for an existing record that is not available on the live roster.

What This Site Cannot Do
This site is independently operated. It has no affiliation with any South Carolina government body, sheriff, jail, corrections department, court, or records office. It cannot release or hold a person, confirm custody or release, post bond, file a request, obtain a record, or provide legal advice.
- It cannot decide whether a record or photograph is public, exempt, sealed, or subject to redaction.
- It cannot verify charges, bond, a release, or a court result.
- It cannot act for a visitor in dealings with a detention or court office.
- It does not present booking photographs as a gallery or as proof of guilt.
Only the responsible record custodian can confirm current custody or release. A booking entry is an accusation, not a conviction, and the court outcome is the controlling procedural record.
Search Partner Disclosure
Some pages include search tools operated by third-party partners. Those providers set their own prices, terms, and result sets. If a partner tool leads to a paid signup, a referral fee may support this site's free availability. That possibility does not give this site control over a partner's cost, data practices, or search results.
