Get in Touch

Aiken County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve official booking records. Use the appropriate public office below for an official answer. The lines and addresses listed here are not emergency services.

Official Aiken County Routing

Different questions go to different custodians. Detention staff handle current county custody; the Sheriff's Records Unit handles record requests; and the Clerk's office or court index is the path for a later case event. A booking charge is only an accusation, so check the court record for the outcome.

Which Search Fits the Custody Status?

Use the county search for a person currently at the Aiken County Detention Center. A person sentenced to state prison is in a separate system and may be checked through the South Carolina Department of Corrections offender search. Federal and immigration custody are also separate, using the Bureau of Prisons locator or the ICE detainee locator when applicable.

  • For a particular booking record or a possible photograph, use the Sheriff's records request route rather than assuming it appears online.
  • For a current county-custody check, use the official surname-based detainee search or contact the Detention Center.
  • For a case result, hearing, dismissal, reduction, or other disposition, consult the court index or Clerk.
  • For an official warrant inquiry, use the Warrants unit, not an unverified web listing.
